Editing product descriptions and prices
Business secret - do not distribute!
The trader provides descriptions of the offers that the customer expects and needs to make a purchasing decision. The descriptions can be entered manually via Enaa Editor (only in case of a small number of published products with a lower rate of change).
We recommend publishing and updating offers via XML data exchange. For this you can use:
The trader is obliged to include in the description:
- product name
- product group (we recommend using Enaa groups and code lists to speed up the process of publishing new offers; otherwise your offers must be manually linked manually by the Enaa editorial team beforehand - this service is free of charge)
- at least one product image
- retail price of the product (or your selling price to the manager, on the basis of which the manager calculates the retail price in accordance with the agreement)
- exact delivery date
- EPRELID number for products for which the display of energy labels is mandatory
- information on the manufacturer or the manufacturer's authorised responsible representative for practically all products in accordance with ZIUSVP - Law implementing the General Product Safety Regulation (EU)
The description of the product must contain all the information required by law: details of attestations, certificates, statutory markings, EAN and EPRELID numbers for products where these are legally required or customary and other information required by law.
We recommend that you take special care when publishing:
- the delivery time is an essential element of the contract with customers and must be respected; delays may lead to withdrawal from the contract and, in some cases, to additional charges
- the published retail prices should not be higher than the prices at which customers can buy your products or similar products on other websites
The trader is obliged to comply with the requirements of the administrator when editing, both as regards the quality of the descriptions and pictorial material and as regards the names of the sections and groups. In the event that the trader does not comply with the requirements of the administrator as regards the quality of the descriptions, the pictorial material and in cases where the trader does not ensure that the offers, delivery times and the competitiveness of the retail prices are regularly updated, the administrator may immediately withdraw the display of all or part of the offers of the supplier or edit and expand the descriptions of the offers of its choice, as a rule but not exclusively the offers that are accepted as the best in the respective categories / groups by the customers and the Enaa editorial staff.
We recommend:
- we use html descriptions
- we use images that are stored on the Enaa server. Base64 encoding of images is not allowed
- descriptions must not ask the customer to send an email, call or visit another website
- links to other websites are not allowed without the specific approval of the administrator
- links to youtube, vimeo and sub-sites must be https://
Product name
We recommend the following format:
- product type + brand + model name + additional tags and information if necessary so that customers can find your offer more easily on search engines
- use a capital letter, but don't shout at customers with the whole product name in CAPITAL LETTERS
Price
We only publish one price on Enaa, which includes all discounts. We do not know of any discounts or crossed out prices. Sales with discount codes or promo codes, free shipping and gifts are possible.
Delivery time
We need a delivery time for issue from your warehouse. If you have the product in stock and can issue it to the delivery service the same day, you are deemed to be selling from stock. If you need one day to issue, please specify 1 day, .... Always publish delivery times that you can meet.
The maximum delivery time is 7 days. Delivery times of more than 7 days up to a maximum of 30 days can be used by prior arrangement for products that are typically sold with longer delivery times, e.g. bespoke furniture, pushchairs, etc.
Delivery times longer than 7 days can be used here in cases where you sell out of a product and have already ordered a new shipment which will be available sooner than 30 days. In these cases, it is better to use a longer delivery time instead of withdrawing the offer, which also affects the positioning on Google search.
We recommend ti use delivery times via XML in accordance with our code list. If you want to transmit the delivery time in days or use a different delivery time codes, we will arrange the appropriate display of the delivery times according to Enaa.
ENAA delivery time code list:
- 20 In our stock in Ljubljana
- 0 In your stock in Slovenia
- 22 In your stock in EU ready for shipment
- 4 1-2 days
- 6 2-3 days
- 5 5 days
- 7 7 days
- 10 Not deliverable (anything that is not deliverable within the estimated maximum delivery time, usually 7 days)
Longer delivery times can be published by special arrangement:
- 19 10 days
- 16 15 days
- 17 21 days
- 18 30 days
- 15 Coming
Product image
We can publish up to 6 product images. The first image is the main image. We recommend images in a square format between 500 x 500 pixels and 1600 x 1600 pixels, which allows zooming. We cannot enlarge smaller images without loss of quality. Images that are larger or have an inappropriate aspect ratio will be automatically adjusted by Enaa. Adjusted images may be of lower quality.
Offer/product description
We recommend descriptions longer than 1500 characters, otherwise there is no length limit. We use the "default" font, i.e. no other fonts are selected in the editor. The font must not be smaller than 12 dots anywhere. To make a longer description more readable, divide it into several shorter paragraphs. Bold important product features.
Product descriptions are informative. Avoid advertising texts and approaches in the descriptions. We provide the reader with relevant information, highlighting the advantages and main features, as well as the utility value, which form the basis for the purchase decision. The text of each offer must be distinct from other offers.
Within certain groups, products can be marked with different characteristics (filters). The description should include information that allows editors to sort your products by characteristics and makes it easier for buyers to search and choose.
Descriptions can also include tables, images, videos from youtube.com, vimeo or similar platforms. Images, videos and tables can be up to 635 pixels wide.
